1980

The founder of the company is Mr. Somchan Chanchalotorn. The first factory is located at Tha Phra Rd. Sam-Yak Fai Chai .Initially, ZIP made own product which is lighter and also running general plating service.

1993

Registered company, on behalf of ZIP Metal Works (1993) Limited company, together with the installation of automatic hanging plating. Started Jig section to support offline plated automatic.

2003

Received certified quality system ISO 9001:2000 by JQA.

2010

Started construction Zip Metal Works Factory (1993) Co., Ltd, first branch located on Rama 2 Rd., Samutsakhon to support the expansion of the business in the future.

2011

Began production at the first branch with Zinc rack. Changed from Jig section which only support for in-house production to Jig division, devoted to the business with the addition of new sales are made.

2017

Began production Electrolytic Lacquer.

2023

Began production ZINC-NICKEL and ANODIZING

ZIP is a manufacturer specialized in plating and surface treatment services using chemical and electrochemical processes. We emphasize quality and customer service under the philosophy — “Your Satisfaction is Our Satisfaction.”

• The company has experienced continuous growth in the plating business since its early stage, beginning with manual plating operations. Later, ZIP expanded to become a fully automated operation and subsequently relocated to its original facility in Bangkhunthian, covering an area of 2,225 sq.m. (Factory I).
• In May 2000, ZIP established a new facility, Factory II, under the contract and support of TOSHIBA, specializing in plating components for the magnetron business.
• In 2003, we expanded our production capacity with the establishment of Factory III, and Factory IV is currently under construction as part of our expansion plan for 2004.
